A:<\/strong> Any home whether brand new or several years old should have an inspection completed.<\/strong> All homes have different levels of quality when they are originally built, and varying degrees of \u2018wear and tear\u2019 over the years. Keep in mind home inspection costs are insignificant (typically $400-$6000 depending on size) relative to the large values that we have in the lower mainland.<\/p>\n

As an example, in the heat of the spring\/summer market of 2016<\/strong> a listing that was on for more than a week was considered \u2018stale\u2019 and would need a revamp on price and marketing strategy.
